What are the Berlin Marathon qualifying times?

Does meeting the qualifying standard guarantee entry?
Yes. Unlike the Boston Marathon, which uses a rolling cutoff that requires you to beat the standard by several minutes to get a place, or the London Marathon, which caps its Good for Age program at 6,000 runners, Berlin offers a true guarantee. If you have a certified, verifiable marathon finish time that meets the standard for your age group, you are guaranteed a spot in the race. You must, however, submit your application during the official fast-track entry window, which typically runs alongside the general lottery.
Who is eligible for Berlin's fast-track entry?
Both national and international runners are eligible for Berlin's qualifying route. This is a massive advantage for international athletes, especially compared to the London Marathon's Good for Age program, which is strictly restricted to UK residents. Anyone from any country can apply with a valid qualifying time.
