The TCS Sydney Marathon charity programme runs through the official Grassrootz platform, with the entire roster pegged to a standard AUD $3,000 minimum fundraising target per charity entry. Every charity bib is a guaranteed entry, no ballot required. Most partners opened applications in late 2025 and run them through to mid-2026 for the 30 August 2026 race, closing as each charity hits its allocation. The standardised minimum is unusual among the Majors and makes Sydney one of the most predictable charity options of the seven.
