Tokyo Marathon 2027: VENEX Campaign Draws 40 Entries

VENEX, the Tokyo Marathon's official recovery wear partner, is running a campaign that gives away 40 entries to the Tokyo Marathon 2027 by lottery. To qualify, you need to buy VENEX recovery wear or recovery items totaling JPY 22,000 or more (tax included) at eligible stores between Friday, September 18 and Saturday, October 31, 2026, according to the Tokyo Marathon Foundation.

How does it work?

The Foundation's notice, published October 6, 2026, says customers who make a qualifying purchase in the campaign period enter a draw, and 40 winners receive a Tokyo Marathon 2027 entry. Only purchases at eligible stores count. The notice is in Japanese and links to the full campaign details, so read those terms before buying.

Is it worth it?

It is a small draw: 40 places. Treat it as an extra chance on top of the routes you already have, not a plan. The general lottery for 2027 has already issued results, and the remaining routes and dates are on the Tokyo Marathon race page and in how to enter the Tokyo Marathon.

The race is on Sunday, March 7, 2027.
