Chicago Marathon 2026 Packet Pickup: Dates, Hours, and Rules

If you are running the 2026 Chicago Marathon, collecting your race materials before Sunday is mandatory. All participants must pick up their participant packet in person at the Abbott Health & Fitness Expo.

There is no packet pickup on race day.

Where is Chicago Marathon packet pickup?

Packet pickup takes place at the Abbott Health & Fitness Expo inside the McCormick Place Convention Center:

McCormick Place North Building, Level 3 – Hall B1 Chicago, Illinois

2026 Expo schedule and pickup hours

The expo runs across three days ahead of the race. Times are subject to change by event organizers:

• Thursday, October 8, 2026: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (event FAQ) or 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (spectator schedule)
• Friday, October 9, 2026: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Saturday, October 10, 2026: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

What documents do you need to bring?

To collect your materials, you must present a government-issued photo ID. The name on your photo ID must match the name you used during registration.

Every participant is required to pick up their own packet in person during the scheduled operating hours.

What is inside your participant packet?

Your participant materials collected at the expo include:

• Bib number
• Timing device
• Participant bag
• Official participant t-shirt

Participant materials will not be mailed, and they are not available for pickup on race day, Sunday, October 11, 2026.
